We accelerate ecological recovery and future-proof our neighborhoods by leveraging the remarkable characteristics of fire-adapted native plants. Introducing native seeds improves soil health and biodiversity, speeds wildfire recovery, and strengthens resilience against future climate disasters. ​

We help kids and families affected by wildfires heal and grow through positive hands-on engagement. At our events, displaced communities reunite around the shared goal of transforming fire-blighted zones and cleared lots into beautiful wildflower meadows. Through opportunities for service and stewardship, we empower youth who have suffered traumatic loss to become leaders.

The catastrophic 2025 LA Wildfires affected not only the historic communities of Altadena and Pacific Palisades, but the entire Los Angeles region. Since April of 2025, we have made and shared more than two thousand seed bombs in Altadena and the Palisades. Bringing together youth from across the city, we meet in a place of curiosity and affinity to imagine a stronger, more collaborative, more hopeful Los Angeles.
